sri lankaNew Delhi, Monday, December 7 – An interesting tournament is on the cards as Sri Lanka are to play against New Zealand to contest in 2-match Test series and 5-match ODI series. On their tour of New Zealand, they are likely to be positive, which is important for a confident start.

The Black Caps have improvised and improved to a great extent since cricket World Cup 2015. None anticipated that they will enter in grand finale of the cricket carnival with style, beating South Africa in the last moment.

The first match will be played at University Oval in Dunedin from December 10. Game 2 of the longest format will be hosted at Seddon Park in  Hamilton. One-Day International matches will be played at Hagley Oval, Saxon Field and Bay Oval No2, Mount Maunganui from December 26 to January 5. Both teams look forward to a strong start in the tournament, which is to take place soon.
